Application:-This is used to damp wheat very rapidly with a uniform distribution of the added water over all parts of each grain up to 5% moisture can be added.
Operation:-Grain enters the machine via, a metered quality of supplementary water is added at the wheat feed point and is mixed through at the high speed rotor. The rotor blades are set at an angle, propelling the grain towards the outlet. The Continuous friction of the kernels helps to distribute the water uniformly. The wheat kernels spin slowly along the jacket sheet towards the outlet, accelerated by the rotor and the effect of centrifugal force.
